OUR HISTORY
Stop ‘n Save convenience stores began in 1977 when three business partners formed Feather Petroleum Company in Grand Junction, Colorado. Stop ‘n Save #1 was located at First and Rood and was the first gas station in Grand Junction to sell groceries. Stop ‘n Save has continued to be family owned and operated since its founding in 1977. The Stop ‘n Save family has grown to 150 people at 15 locations and attributes its longevity to its talented and dedicated management team, office staff, store managers and employees.
Modern stores and amenities continue to be the hallmark of Stop ‘n Save. We were among the early adopters of pay at the pump technology, merchandise scanning and drive through windows. Our foodservice offerings include Hunt Brothers Pizza, hamburgers, salads, burritos and many other options which are all prepared fresh daily.
Stop ‘n Save is proud of its long history of providing convenience to the people of Colorado and looks forward to many more years of service.
