Vacation Time

Stop 'n Save offers all its employees paid vacation time. It is the belief of Stop 'n Save that vacation time is our employees' opportunity to get away from their job responsibilities. It is a time that is beneficial to the employee, as well as Stop 'n Save, in that it allows the employee to relax and come back to work refreshed.

Stop 'n Save recognizes the need of employees for financial protection in the event of illness or injuries that result in medical expense and loss of income. Providing adequate, cost-effective insurance protection is a concern of the company. The plans selected by Stop 'n Save are designed in an attempt to meet the employees' needs. Whether you are a part time of full time employee if you work at least an average of 25 hours per week and have been an employee for 6 months you will qualify for health coverage.

If you work at least 1000 hours in a year, are 21 years of age and have completed 1 full year of service you may choose to participate in our 401K retirement plan.

Stop 'n Save operates on a commitment to service and convenience for its customers. Employees accept employment with Stop 'n Save fully understanding that they are subject to be scheduled to work on weekends and holiday. Stop 'n Save employees must realize this commitment to the public is important. Hourly store level employees will receive time and one-half for hours worked on designated holidays. Stop 'n Save will observe the following holidays:

• Memorial Day
• Easter Day
• Labor Day
• Thanksgiving Day
• Christmas Day

Stop 'n Save understands that in today's world people need to schedule their time wisely. They must often work while attending school or possibly work two jobs to make ends meet. At Stop 'n Save you will find flexible scheduling to help you accommodate your needs. We will work with you to schedule shifts that allow you to meet your obligations. We have both full time and part time schedules available. Full time is considered 35 hours a week or more, while part time is less than 35 hours a week.
